Level Qualification
Primary (Class 1 to 5)
  • All Teachers working in Primary Level schools shall be eligible to appear for the Special Teacher Eligibility Test (Special TET) for the Primary Level.
  • All schools that are run by the State Government
  • Local bodies and schools that have been granted affiliation/recognition from time to time by the State Government / Basic Education Council
  • Schools receiving aid from the State Government
  • Special Education – Primary Level (Classes 1 to 5)

  • All Teachers working in Upper Primary Level / Junior High School Level schools shall be eligible to appear for the Special Teacher Eligibility Test (Special TET) for the Upper Primary Level.

  • Local bodies and schools that have been granted affiliation/recognition from time to time by the State Government / Basic Education Council / Secondary Education Council;
  • Schools receiving aid from the State Government
